Travellin' Girl

Does anyone else have a difficult time packing up their lives? I don't understand it. I mailed 4 boxes of stuff home, donated lots of clothes, and STILL I'm packed to the brim with no breathing room in my luggage.

*le sigh*

It's been a busy week what with finals and trying to get my life on track. Luckily, the life track includes a job interview on Sunday afternoon, the day I arrive in SF at Lush, with 3 apartment viewings on Monday morning (ahhh!).

And just in case things fall apart there (you can never be too careful), I can move back to Calabasas to live with two good friends of mine and work out there. Having a plan B is pretty swell.

Not much else to say. Need to pack some more today, write a paper, go to dinner with my friends, mail a letter, etc. My life just keeps staying busy :)

Love to you all,
Heather

Moving is such an exhausting pain, but San Francisco gives you so much to look forward to. I LOVE IT HERE!

It certainly sounds like you've got tons of crazy stuff going on at once, so hopefully you can get through everything without a hitch! Good luck with packing and moving and whatnot!

Good luck with the move, lovely! I'm in the midst of one myself and it's quite stressful, I know. I haven't started packing yet! I hate to think how much stuff I'm going to have. XD

I'm a new follower... don't hate me for asking this... Calabasas? Do you shop at Dash? Just wondering :) My hubs and I are addicted to "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" - yes, we need a life :(

As has been noted, moving is one of life's most annoying tasks....
I feel your pain.

When I left NY to move to LA I gave away enough stuff to furnish ANOTHER one bedroom apt!

Now here in LA? Packed to the rafters, even though I have no rafters.

I always tell myself that moving is good because I will be able to get rid of all the stuff I don't need. Yeah right!

Good luck in SF. It's a great place to live.

Oh I so know this problem - I bought a car just to drive all my stuff home from uni because there was just no other way! And even then I had to take a car full to the charity shops nearby and gave away most of my furniture... Good luck with the move!

and i LOVE and RESPECT all folks that always have a plan b in their pocket! i am one of those types! one must be prepared for any outcome, or at least try to be! we all hope plan a works out, tho! but you could do a hell of a lot worse than calabasas! ha!

Omg good luck with everything! It sounds like you have your hands tied, but in a good way. The excitement of moving and graduating and entering the "real world" is kind of exhilarating yet terrifying, isn't it?

I hope it all goes smoothly for you! xoxo

Ugh, I hate packing. Mostly because I'm a book hound who REFUSES to give up my beloved books and those are a bitch to pack.

And, okay, I'm a bit of a pack rat.

There, I said it.

I'm in the midst of packing up my apartment as we speak-sigh. It's terrible.

I'm excited about moving back to Chicago, but I wish someone could do the dirty work for me!
