2009 was already shaping up to be a tremendous year but when Burberry just announced the face of their new campaign is none other than Miss Emma Watson, well my friends that was the icing on the cake.

She is a perfect choice, very poised and classic.

My Seventeen magazine (yes, I still subscribe to them, I am a 13 year old at heart) has a spread with Katy Perry that I am really, really adoring like mad right now.
While I still consider Dita von Teese, Eva Green, Zooey Deschanel and Marion Cotillard to be among my favorite stylish stars and facial icons, I have many days where I feel like I should put Katy on the list but...I don't. I need to see a few more ladylike ensembles out of her before I can make that decision firmly. Even with the four listed above, my go-to is always Dita in terms of clothes and Eva for the face.

I still love her use of bright, POP! worthy colors though. Never a dull moment with this girl.
Hmm, what else to say...I started my new job as a Community Service intern today where they were so nice to put together a little goodie bag for me which really made my morning nice.
Every morning will start at 8:30am and conclude at 5pm for me this summer, with the exception of weekends that I have off.
It feels good to hit the old stride of being back with two jobs again and also working on writing which is always, always fulfilling and always, always frustrating. It's a love/dislike relationship but most of the time, it's my true love.
Love to you all,
Heather
