Dreams

Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow...

-Langston Hughes

I've been thinking a lot these days. Contemplating life and all that jazz.

Love to you all,
Heather

Intriguing poem you've shared with us. I can't decide if it makes me feel uplifted, or a little bit crushed. In any case, it seems to fit with my current state of mind too. Hope your brain isn't confusing you with your contemplations like mine is. ;)

Thinking is a good thing. Overthinking, not so much. . . Remember to balance things in life! And remember to laugh! Love this poem, always have.

Hi Heather, so true that poem! Am thinking a lot these days as well. Love my work for the magazine, but miss free time for painting and writing. I'm getting all itchy when i lack me-time. Hope you have a good weekend!
