We Were So In Phase/ In Our Dance Hall Days

I had the fitting for my school's upcoming 50th Anniversary fashion show and am super excited because:

a) the first dress fit and it was a stunner. Dark blue, sequined, shoulder pads and a fitted bodice all leading up to the most slamming, big satin pleated bottom ever.

b) and judging by the aforementioned description, I'm representing the '80's decade.

YES!!! I've liked many decades in the past but because of my fondness for Depeche Mode, Simple Minds and pretty much anything involving a synthesizer, I've been compared to the '80's often. This dress is a killer, can't wait to get my hair all feathered up and represent it!

I Googled some kick-ass '80's dresses below.

Great neckline and color.

Puffed sleeves + ruffled bottom + fuchsia = quintessentially '80's.

Va-va-va-vroom baby!

And now it's off to do some homework. Eww...

Love to you all,
Heather

That sounds like so much fun! I'm all in the mood for dress up too, and 80's is always fun! I'm loving the first dress - the shade of blue and the neckline are incredibly pretty.

Lovely blog by the way, I just discovered through your comment. Thanks!
